Algorithm

Plan. Focus. Remember.

Algorithm is a lightweight personal workspace for planning time, focusing, reading, organising research links, keeping a journal, recording exercise routines, and setting reminders.

You can use the workspace as a guest with data stored in your browser, or sign in with a personal Gmail account to synchronise workspace records privately. Signed-in users bring their own storage: Algorithm creates an Algorithm folder in their Google Drive for workspace data, backups, saved PDFs, and annotations. Opening an existing Drive PDF or mounting another folder still requires an explicit choice through Google Picker. Refreshing a mounted folder asks for read-only Drive access so Algorithm can preserve its nested folder structure and show the PDFs it contains.

Google Drive access is included with Gmail sign-in. Algorithm requests the narrow drive.file permission, which covers files Algorithm creates and items you explicitly select. If you mount a folder, Algorithm separately requests drive.readonly. Google describes that permission as access to see and download all Drive files; Algorithm limits its use to listing the mounted hierarchy and opening PDFs you select from it.
